Bedford Police Arrest Man and Woman for Robbery at Local Gas Station

BEDFORD — Chief John Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department arrested a man and a woman last night who were allegedly involved in a robbery at a local service station.
MICHAEL MCWHA, AGE 22, OF BROOKLINE was charged with Robbery.
EMILY LANGILLE, AGE 27, OF HAMPTON was charged with Criminal Liability for the Conduct of Another and Falsifying Physical Evidence.
On Tuesday, Jan. 5, at approximately 9:45 p.m., police responded to RPM Fuels, 137 Route 101, on a report of a robbery.
According to witnesses, a man entered the business, indicated that he had a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect then fled RPM Fuels with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as a white male, wearing a grey/black jacket and a hat and was observed getting into a white Kia sedan. The vehicle was last seen turning onto Meetinghouse Road from Route 101.
Responding units located and stopped the suspect vehicle on Meetinghouse Road in Bedford. At that time, the female driver, identified as LANGILLE, and the male suspect, determined to be MCWHA, were taken into custody without incident.
Both MCWHA and LANGILLE were arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack today.
MCWHA is being held on $20,000 cash bail, while LANGILLE is being held on $8,000 cash or surety. The two are at Valley Street Jail pending a probable cause hearing on Jan. 19 at the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack.
“I applaud the Bedford Police Patrol Division officers whose swift response and action resulted in the apprehension of these two suspects as well as the assistance from the public,” Chief Bryfonski said. “Thankfully, no one at the gas station was injured during this incident.”
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
