Arlington Police Department Charge Pair with Indecent Exposure, Trespassing

ARLINGTON — Police Chief Frederick Ryan reports that two Arlington residents were arrested late Wednesday night after police found them naked in an alleyway.

RYAN BARRY, AGE 23, OF ARLINGTON is charged with Assault, Indecent Exposure, Disorderly Conduct and Trespassing.

NICOLE CARMICHAEL, AGE 26, OF ARLINGTON is charged with Indecent Exposure, Trespassing and was held on an outstanding Arrest Warrant.

“This is an unfortunate situation where two parties clearly violated the law,” Chief Ryan said. “I applaud the work of the responding officers from the Arlington Police Department who handled the incident professionally and responsibly while ensuring the safety of all involved.”

On July 15, at approximately 11:47 p.m. officers responded to an alley behind the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford St., after they received a report of an unresponsive naked man in the area.

Police located a completely naked male subject, later determined to be BARRY, laying down on a couch. Officers determined he was breathing. They located a woman, CARMICHAEL, next to BARRY who was also breathing.  “Private Property” and “No Trespassing” signs were clearly visible in the area.

The officers informed both parties numerous times to wake up and put on their clothes. During the process, BARRY became combative and was placed under arrest. Police also determined CARMICHAEL had a warrant from the Winchester Police Department out of Woburn District Court. She was placed under arrest.

Both parties were transported to the Medford Police Department for booking. They were arraigned today at Cambridge District Court.
